We closed the café and centre the first week of June to do a complete re-paint of the café, soft green, gentle on the eyes.

Upcycling Furniture for Sale
Over the 12 months of lockdown Making a Difference Tameside has used this time to develop new training opportunities, for example: Refurbishing and up scaling items of furniture to sell. The craft area has now been changed to display furniture (as the picture opposite shows).
We have taken most of the craft items out of the café with a view to selling them on the market.
We have now booked a regular Tuesday stall on the market in Ashton under Lyne. Come and buy some of our crafts and support our charity!
